I have been passing through Maginhawa st. for the longest time and I admit, I haven't been to any of the restaurants the street is famous for (Well, I have been to Grill Queen, does it count??? Hahahaha!).
Anyway, as we were driving down the road, I had this sudden urge to look for the famous Gayuma Ni Maria. At first, all I remembered was the word 'Maria' and I kept on telling my partner that we were looking for a restaurant called 'Kyeme ni Maria'. So after sometime, it turned out that the place was located at V. Luna ext.
So finally, we were there (yey!). The place is so cozy. It has a 'homey' vibe in it.
We ordered 'I Love You Cross My Heart' (Chicken breast topped with cheese, mushrooms and asparagus) and 'Please Be Careful With My Heart' (Twice baked chicken in olive oil and garlic). The food was so tasty. I think the atmosphere and the food complimented each other that you will really take your time to indulge and savor the moment.
Unfortunately, we were so hungry we forgot to take a picture of the food and the place. Oh well, I'll just make sure that we'll be back to try the other stuff on the menu.
